Remmy and Tyson

Earlier this spring I had a photography session with these two boxers, Remmy and Tyson. On my website I ask the question, tell me about your dog. This was what their mom Kim wrote in her initial email to me: 

Tell me about your dog: Remmy is our silly 9 1/2 year old boxer and people fall in love with her wherever we go. Tyson is her 10 month old boxer who is still very much a crazy puppy. Remmy is sick, and we would like to capture a few moments of of the two of them together while she is still feeling up to it.

Sky: Dog Photography Project 52: Week 29

Since I don't have a ton of photos with the sky in them, I thought I'd take the oppotunity to try and do a sky replacement for the first time. Figuring out how to do this has been on my list of things to learn, I just haven't made time for it. This is yet another reason why I enjoy this group. It helps me learn and experienment.

Leash Removal

I think leash removeal in dog photography is something most people probably think we photographers don't have to do. Just look through my website. There isn't a leash to be seen... until this post. For most people looking at photos on my website, they probably think I'm photographing perfectly behaved, well-trained dogs that are all off-leash. I am not but I can understand why someone would think that.

Blue Sky Tag Blog Challenge

Never heard of the blue sky tag blog challenge? Me neither until my friend Dedra Davis of Dedra Writes nominated me. Dedra is one of my best Instagram friends.
