Every photographer I know uses photoshop.

Photoshop is useful in so many ways and one of them is editing the leash out of the photos. If you’ve seen other blog posts of mine, I’ve written about this before.

If you think your dog can’t be photographed because I never post photos of dogs on leash, guess what? I edit the leash out of the final photo.

A lot of the dogs I photograph are on leash. Keep reading to see the final photo once I edit the leash and hand out of the photo using Photoshop.

Brick is the theme of our 52 week project and since I was at the beach for 8 glorious days with no brick around and got home to a mountain of work to do before heading back out of town again, I'm using some of my favorite older images with brick. 

Texture is the topic for week 39 of the 52 week dog photography project. When I think of texture and dogs, I automatically think of their fur. My yellow lab Willow has a lot of texture in her fur. 

Our 52 week dog photography project theme this week is street. Many of you know that I also have a dog walking business and when I saw this theme I immediately knew where I wanted to go. Several of my dog walking clients live in a gated community that is really pretty and I thought it would make a great backdrop for this week's theme. It's one road that's a circle with around 20 homes so there is never much traffic.
