Photos of Dogs and Sunflowers
This week in the 52 week pet photography project our topic is “landscape.” We are a group of dog photographers and this is a blog circle.
It is sunflower season here so I thought I’d share some of my recent landscape photos in the sunflower fields.
The Door to my Heart
This is a blog post for the 52 week pet photography project. We are a group of dog photographers from around the world who are given a subject and we write a blog and post photos about the topic.
This week the topic is “doors.” I immediately thought of photographing dogs in front of doors but then this thought occurred to me. My dogs are the door to my heart. If you’re reading this, your dogs are probably the door to your heart too.
Pets and People
The reason BARKography exists is because of my love for dogs.
In January, I was contacted by a local woman who was starting a service dog training program. This is a mother / daughter team that I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know over the last few months.
Leash Removal in Dog Photography
Most of the dogs I photograph are on leash and someone is holding the leash. A lot of people who see my website probably think, “My dog could never do this because he can’t be off leash.”
I’m here to tell you he can.
Watch this time lapse video so you can see how I make the leash and the handler disappear.
George the Shih Tzu
I met George the shih tzu when his mom was given a gift certificate to have him photographed.
Urban Photography in Charlotte NC
The word “urban” refers to a city or a town so urban photography is photography that is taken in a city setting or the city is in the background.
I like exploring my city and looking for fun locations that show the Charlotte skyline. Using our local murals or micro breweries as a backdrop make for great pictures too.
