Some dogs are hard to photograph. My dog Molly is one of those dogs.

Have you ever heard of negative space in photography? I've always been drawn to photos where there aren't a lot of distractions around the subject. The first two images below of the black lab on the beach are examples of images with negative space.

I'm so happy to announce that I'm returning to Vancouver. I visited with my friend Audrey of Sunsets Unleashed in April. We both fell in love so we are returning August 17 - 21, 2018. 

Would it surprise if I said most of the dogs pictures on my site were on leash? And the leashes were being held by the owner or a photography assistant?

I got into photography because of my love for my black lab named Buddy. But if I really think about it, my love of photography started way before Buddy.
