Backlighting is the theme for week 24 of our dog photography 52 week project. The theme was announced at the end of last week on a day when I had a session scheduled so that night I was sure to take some shots with backlighting. My model Pearl was ready to call it quits at this point but I did ask her to pose a few more times because as the sun went down, it got prettier and prettier.

Movement is our week 23 theme. I participate in a 52 week dog photography blog circle. We are a group of dog photographers from around the world who are given a theme each week and we are to take photos and write a blog about the theme.

Our 52 week project theme this week is colorful. It is late spring in Charlotte so guess what colorful in the land of the trees means? Lots of GREEN.

I'm in a 52 week dog photography project and each week we are given a theme to take photos of and this week our theme is sunsets. I've been traveling a lot the past month which is unusual for me. I was in Cape Cod 4 weeks ago and I just got home from Colorado less than 48 hours ago.
