Do you think your dog is hard to photograph? Do you have a hard time getting decent photos of your own dog?

Dogs make me happy. If you’re reading this, I’m guessing they make you happy too.

I don’t know if there is a dog loving gene but if there is, I have it. I might have more than the average person.

I love urban photography. Include a dog and I really looove it! When the dogs include a lanky doodle puppy that is all legs, a fluffy, gorgeous golden retriever, and a smiley Australian cattle dog, you know I’m in heaven. All 3 of these dogs were incredible models.

I am in awe every time I meet a service dog and I have been fortunate to be able to meet several because of my photography career.

Service dogs provide assistance to people with physical and psychiatric challenges and this is Koda and his human Hannah. Koda is a service dog for his mom’s bipolar disorder.

The Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival is in Woodburn Oregon which is about 45 minutes south of Portland. The annual festival runs annually for 3-4 weeks from mid April to early May.
