I love senior dogs and recently I got to photograph a 12 year old chocolate lab named Diesel. A couple of weeks ago, he had a health scare and his dad wanted to make sure he had professional, loving photos of his beloved dog.

Charlotte is hosting the President’s Cup Golf Tournament in 2022 at Quail Hollow Country Club. The event dates are September 19 - 22, 2022.

This is my dog Moose and his adoption story.

He joined our family in October of 2014. I had purchased my first Nikon two months before he came to live with us. He’s been my go to model on this entire photography journey.

Moose is now retired from professional dog modeling because of his age and health issues.

I took this photo in 1996….. 20 years later I became a photographer. The photo is blurry but it’s one of the best ones I have of this dog that still has my heart.

For those who don’t know me, I’ve had one puppy in my adult life. Back in May 1996, I answered an ad in the newspaper for a litter of weimaraner / labrador puppies. I was in my early 30s and this was WAY before I was a photographer.

Photographing happy dogs is one of my favorite parts of my job. How do I capture photos of dogs looking happy? It's not always as easy as it sounds.
