BOLD COLORS: Dog Photography 52 Week Project - Week 44

Newport Beach Dog Photographer.JPG

Bold colors is  the theme for week 44 of the 52 week dog photography project and I'm in southern California! I'm in my happy place. I lived here from 2004 - 2007 and it's my favorite place in the world. I don't get back here as often as I like but when I do, I'm in heaven.

I specifically love a small quaint town nestled between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach called Corona del Mar. We lived in a house that was 4 blocks from the beach. It's a coastal town and every morning before I drove to the recruiting job I loathed, I walked my dogs to the beach. Every morning, I got to see the view in the photo below. This place is magical to me.

My favorite view. Standing at Lookout Point in Corona del Mar looking south.

Today I'm going to blog some of the images I've taken over the past couple of days. Some include dogs and some don't.

What I should also say is, if you truly want to see bold colors in the photos I've taken, check out last week's post. I photographed a german shorthaired puppy and I used graffiti walls as the background and they were really colorful. This week, nature is going to provide any bold colors in my photos.

Having a lot of bold colors in my images isn't really my style. I like those types of photos but they're not really me. The only exception is blue. I like any shade of the color blue. Bold or neutral - any shade of blue makes me happy.

This is a blog circle and next up is I Got the Shot Photography, serving people and pets in Northeastern PA. Be sure to click the link at the bottom of each blog post to see what each photographer does with our theme "bold colors" this week.
